Lounge was born

It all started in the Lounge of co-founders and couple, Dan and Mel. The perfect combination of a business brain and creative soul built the foundations for a brand that would change the game. It was time to introduce Comfort Made Sexy to the world and so, our classic Triangle Set design was born.

SCALING AND GROWING

In 2016, the couple launched the brand officially and were on a mission to expand with the creation of Lounge Apparel and more underwear sets! Their very own living room could no longer contain the success of the brand, and so they moved into their first ever office and warehouse space.

THE DUO EXPANDED

In 2017, it was time to bring some more Loungers on board. The couple hired their first employees, who are still with us to this very day! Plus, they were ready to make some big moves and take their ever-expanding brand overseas...

BUILDING A FAMILY

After another year of extraordinary growth and demand, the home of Lounge upped and moved again. As a growing team of 6, we said goodbye to our second home and scaled up into our third warehouse space. During this time, we also launched our Australian website - we’re a global Female Family, after all!

A GAME-CHANGER OF A YEAR

A year no one could have predicted. We celebrated our 3rd Birthday Sale and branched out a whole new arm of the brand, Lounge Swim. We took our new collection to Miami Swim Week, experienced yet another warehouse move with 25 incredible Loungers, and kickstarted one of our biggest campaigns to date, #FeelYourBreast.

OUR BIGGEST YEAR YET

After a truly testing year with the pandemic, we rocketed into a game-changing space with our first million pound hour and proudly taking our first steps on our sustainability journey with our Bamboo Triangle.

We also brought back our #FeelYourBreast campaign which saw Lounge raising £104,837 for our partner charities!

A YEAR TO REMEMBER

We moved into our brand new HQME where we launched 39 new products, shipped 5.6 million items, opened 2 brand new distribution centres in the UK and Mainland Europe and took our campaigns to the next level, inspiring our Loungers worldwide.

WE'RE COMING FOR YOU

We launched so many innovative products for our Loungers; from a beautiful range of basics to our first ever nursing bra. Because Comfort Made Sexy is for everyone, every day. 2022 also marked a huge milestone for us; having raised over £500,000 for Breast Cancer Awareness. There was simply no stopping us.
